Our Hope for the Future

Question: does Jesus currently rejoice over His Church or is He mostly grieved and troubled by Her current condition?

Take care: our answer to that question informs how we perceive the Gospel, His grace and mercy, and our own lives in weakness and brokenness.

We look at the Church and see what it is not, writing off the people and streams that don’t fit our narrative of what the Church should be.

This is not Jesus. This is not His way. He is unwaveringly committed to His Bride and will not stop until She is radiant with His love.

Our hope for the future of the Church is found in large part with the jealousy of the Father to vindicate His Son’s name and reputation amongst the nations.

A glorious Church will testify to all people of the stunning leadership of a Bridegroom God.
